​John Bell, percussionist/composer/brass player has lived and performed in New Zealand, Australia and South Korea over the last twenty years . He has a Post Grad Diploma in composition from the New Zealand School of Music and is known as one of Australasia’s leading jazz and improvising Vibraphonists.

In recent years he has toured Europe three times with Park Jiha’s Communion band (South Korea) and performed in festivals around New Zealand such as the Wellington International Jazz Festival. Some other recent highlights include presenting his compositions at New Combo Jazz club (Fukuoka Japan 2017) and performing at the APRA Silver Scrolls awards 2018, 2019.

John has taught jazz combos, improvisation,theory , percussion and brass lessons both at tertiary and high school level in NZ, Australia and South Korea
